Tokyo Godfathers is, surprisingly, a Christmas story and has nothing to do with the Mob, though the mob does appear in the movie, but they don't dominate the spotlight or anything like that!
Tokyo Godfathers starts out with the three main characters watching a nativity play. The main characters include Miyuki, a runaway girl. Gin, a drunk and former bicycle shop owner and Hana a drag queen. The main characters are also homeless.
After the nativity play they leave to find a present Hana found for Miyuki. While searching through the garbage they hear the sound of a baby crying. When they move in to investigate they discover a baby girl who had been abandoned.
Hana immediately feels affection for the baby and even wants to adopt her, but the others talk some sense into Hana, convincing him to give the baby to the police, but during the night he takes off with the baby. Gin and Miyuki find him quickly and they decide to find the babies parents.
Gin, Hana and Miyuki are separated during their search several times. It's either because of an argument or some force that's beyond their control and every step they take into locating the babies parents, is another set back. For instance they save some guy who's stuck under his car, the man thanks them by taking them to a party and the man ends up getting shot and Miyuki get's taken hostage!
We also delve into each characters pasts and see what led them to being homeless (to avoid spoilers I won't post any pictures.) and because this is a Christmas story we do get a lot of miracles. Even though there are a lot of tragic moments in this movie it's still a comedy. It's fun to watch and it's a heartwarming movie.

Anime
Hello anime fans!
I've been a fan of anime for a long time and I've decided to create a blog dedicated to it! Instead of writing reviews about anime I've decided to take certain titles that I find interesting (or not) and introduce people to them. I'll give synopsis of course and even my personal thoughts on the show, but please don't consider it a review.
Thanks for stopping by everyone! I hope you enjoy your stay!

Magical Project S
I had a hard time trying to pick the right anime I should start talking about. I had a lot of shows to pick from. I mean my DVD collection alone contains over 250+ DVDs and picking the perfect one was tough. Finally I chose 'Magical Project S'. Before I start talking about this show there is something I would like to discuss first.
When I went to forums and discussed anime with people, there was one thing that kept coming up. I'm not talking about piracy, or dubbing shows, it was something much worse... 'Stacks'. People had these things called 'stacks' and they consisted of purchased and unwatched anime! I acted mortified that anyone could buy and ignore an anime, but I have a confession. I too had my own stack...
Of course that stack only had two DVD sets, but still. A stack is a stack. Well after two years (I'm ashamed) I've finally dusted them off and watched the whole show. All 26 episodes.
